It's astonishing to see the entire MKcast on one system, in one cartridge. The graphics are crisp and clear, a carbon copy of the UMK3 arcade graphics.
The Nintendo 64 version of the game brings MK home like never before. Now firmly in his grasp, the third tournament begins to determine Earth's fate. The game is much like Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 in many ways. Characters from the past come back to the arena for one more battle. What Mortal Kombat Trilogy brings to the series is a combination of all three games rolled into one. When Midway released the first game, it gained notoriety from game players for its digitized graphics and cool special moves, but gained a reputation as being one of the most violent video games ever created. Mortal Kombat Trilogy also allows you to challenge a friend to a fight through a Windows IPX network connection.The Mortal Kombat series has become somewhat of a leg-end-a fighting game that unlike Street Fighter II, Virtua Fighter or Tekken, originated in the U.S. Trilogy differs from the other games in that you can play combinations of people that otherwise isn't possible, such as old Liu Kang vs. The player can choose from over thirty different characters, all with their own fighting style and their own special moves. This game is one-on-one martial arts fighting. You can play as Kano, Reptile, Mileena, Kung Lao, Shang Tsung, Sindel, Sketor, Stryker, Nightwolf, Sheeva, Kitana, Scorpion, Sonya, Smoke (Cyber Ninja), Rain, Jade, Baraka, Johnny Cage, Ermac, Noob Saibot, Sub-Zero (Unmasked), Sub-Zero (Classic), Jax, Rayden, Cyrax, Liu Kang, Smoke (Human), Kabal, Goro, Kintaro, Motaro, or Shao Kahn. DOS, Game.Com, Nintendo 64, SEGA Saturn, WindowsĪll the characters from the first three Mortal Kombat games return for the ultimate battle.
